Kia Carens Clavis Lifetime Battery Warranty is effective from 1 August 2026 Existing customers can also extend the battery warranty to 15 years with unlimited kilometres
Kia India has introduced a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty for the Carens Clavis EV. Effective from 1 August 2026, the warranty provides 15 years of unlimited kilometre coverage for the first owner of new Carens Clavis EVs retailed from this date onwards. In addition, the eligible existing Carens Clavis EV customers who purchased their vehicles before 1 August 2026 will have the option to extend their existing 8-year/1,60,000 km HV Battery Warranty to 15 years with unlimited kilometres.
The battery is among the most important components of an electric vehicle, making long-term battery health and replacement costs key considerations for customers evaluating the switch to EVs. The Lifetime Battery Warranty addresses these concerns by providing unlimited kilometre coverage for 15 years for the first owner.

Alongside the Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty, Kia Carens Clavis EV is also available with BaaS (Battery as a Rental) programme which significantly reduces the upfront cost of EV ownership. Kia India also backs Carens Clavis EV customers with K-Charge, its EV charging ecosystem accessible through the MyKia app and the Kia India website. K-Charge brings together over 20,300 charging points from the country's top 23 Charge Point Operators onto a single platform, letting customers find, navigate, and pay for charging through one unified wallet. This is supported by a growing network of 129+ Kia dealerships equipped with high-capacity DC fast chargers and 275+ EV-ready workshops, part of Kia India's wider service network of 900+ customer touchpoints across 400 cities.
