The Kia Carens Clavis EV lineup in India could soon expand with more options for buyers. A leaked internal document suggests that Kia is planning to introduce new variants and a six-seater layout for its electric MPV. The leak also reveals details about GT Line and X-Line trims, which could join the range in the near future.
If these details are accurate, the updated lineup will give customers more seating choices and additional variant options.

One of the biggest highlights from the leaked document is the introduction of a six-seater configuration. This setup will feature captain seats in the second row, offering a more comfortable seating arrangement for passengers.
The document suggests that this layout will be available from the HTX E variant onwards. Buyers will be able to choose between six-seat and seven-seat versions, depending on their preference.
The six-seater version will not be limited to just one battery pack. According to the leak, it will be offered with both battery options available on the Carens Clavis EV.
The entry-level variants will continue to use the 42 kWh battery pack, while higher trims will get the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack that offers a longer driving range.
The leaked sheet also reveals that GT Line variants could be added to the Carens Clavis EV lineup.
These versions are expected to be available in GTX and GTX Plus trims, both powered by the 51.4 kWh extended-range battery pack. As per the leaked details, the GTX variant could be priced at around Rs 22.99 lakh, while the GTX Plus variant may cost about Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The GT Line models are expected to feature sportier styling elements and unique design touches compared to the standard variants.

The document also mentions an X-Line variant, which could become the top model in the Carens Clavis EV lineup.
This variant is also expected to be priced close to Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Like other Kia X-Line models, it could get exclusive styling details, special colour options and unique trim elements.
The leaked sheet suggests that the six-seater HTX E standard-range variant could start at around Rs 19.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the extended-range HTX E six-seater variant is listed at around Rs 21.99 lakh.
Depending on additional options such as accessories, charging equipment and warranty packages, the on-road price could go close to Rs 27 lakh.
