Tata Tiago EV 2026 gets new headlamps and updated design. More features and tech upgrades are expected inside. Bigger battery and improved range could be added.
The upcoming update of the Tata Tiago EV has been spotted testing again, and this time the changes look more noticeable. After a big refresh in 2025, Tata Motors seems ready to give its affordable electric hatchback another round of upgrades in 2026.
The Tiago EV is an important model for Tata, as the Tiago range contributes a strong share to the company’s monthly sales. With competition increasing in the small EV space, this update could help it stay ahead.

Spy images suggest the front end will look sharper than before. The headlamps appear slimmer, and the LED daytime running lights now sit at the top, giving the car a more modern face. The position of the turn indicators also seems to have changed.
The front bumper looks slightly redesigned, and the lower grille pattern may be new. The test car’s wheels were covered, which usually means a new design is coming. Many buyers will be hoping for proper alloy wheels this time.
There are also signs that Tata may introduce a sunroof. A slight bump on the roof of the test vehicle hints at this possibility. If offered, it will be a big talking point in this segment.
The current Tiago EV already comes with a large touchscreen, updated steering wheel, and improved instrument cluster. The 2026 version could add more connected features and software updates.
Tata may also improve the camera system and offer better clarity for parking assistance. Small changes in materials and feature additions are also expected to keep the cabin feeling updated.
The biggest change could be related to range. At present, the Tiago EV offers two battery options and is mainly seen as a city car. For 2026, Tata could introduce a more energy-dense battery pack to increase driving range.
There are also chances of improved charging speeds. If the battery capacity is increased, the Tiago EV could become more practical for short highway trips along with daily city use.
Overall, the Tata Tiago EV 2026 facelift does not look like a complete overhaul. Instead, it appears to be a smart update with design tweaks, added features, and possibly better range. More details are expected closer to its official reveal.
