There were a lot of expectations from Toyota at this year's Auto Expo. However during the course of the media days, the Japanese automaker did not unveil any of its products. Rather what it did was silently showcase its products like the All-New Land Cruiser 300, recently launched Innova Hycross and Urban Cruiser Hyryder, BZ4X electric SUV, Hilux Extreme Off Road Concept alongside a sportier version of the Glanza. So what are you waiting for? Come and checkout Toyota’s Pavilion at hall no 11 at the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo 2023.

The first all-new model in over a decade, Toyota has finally unveiled the Land Cruiser 300. While the overall silhouette bears similarities with the LC200, the SUV has been thoroughly redesigned. The biggest changes you will notice are the massive grille flanked by slimmer LED headlights, squared-off wheel arches, and kinks at the A and D-pillars.

Moving inside, the updates are more noticeable in the Land Cruiser 300, featuring a new dashboard design and three upholstery options. You get features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, HUD (Head Up Display), a 17-speaker audio system from JBL, powered and ventilated front seats, and a fingerprint authentication system.

The SUV retains its body-on-frame structure but is now underpinned by the new GA-F platform based on TGNA. Toyota will offer a single powertrain option for the SUV in India, a 3.3-litre V6 turbodiesel that is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The brand is showcasing the recently launched Innova Hycross at the motor show. Priced between Rs 18.30 lakh to Rs 28.97 lakh (ex-showroom), it uses a monocoque chassis. The Hycross has an SUV like design with a new honeycomb-pattern grille and slimmer wraparound LED headlights while the rear end provides new tail lights that are connected via chrome strip.
The interior of the vehicle is all-new with features like a 10.1-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system on the top variants, auto climate control, powered bootlid, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
Toyota offers a petrol and a strong-hybrid powertrain option with the vehicle. The former makes 172 bhp with 205 Nm of peak torque while the later has a combined power output of 186 bhp with 205 Nm torque. Transmission options include an e-drive automatic and an eCVT gearbox.

Toyota BZ4X electric compact SUV is also on show. The electric concept is a part of the bZ(Beyond Zero) sub-brand that includes the bZ3 sedan and bZ4X crossover. Visually, the concept looks striking with its sculpted body lines, sharp edges, high beltline and aggressively raked rear windscreen. Up front the LED headlights are connected to a LED lightstrip with the LED DRLs sitting below it. While towards the rear, you will notice wraparound tail lights and a prominent diffuser.

We were not allowed to check out the interior but what we can tell you is that it sports a minimalistic design, with a large curved touchscreen, aeroplane-style yoke steering wheel, and a curved digital instrument cluster. The seats of the SUV are claimed to be made from recycled and plant-based materials while it also supports virtual assistance via voice commands.
Its powertrain details are yet to be revealed, it has been reported that the production model will be offered in both FWD and AWD variants, with the former expected to come with a 71.4 kWh battery pack.
