The month of March heralds the arrival of cutting-edge automotive technology and design in the Indian automobile market, with several manufacturers poised to introduce exciting new models. Let's delve into the technical intricacies of four highly anticipated vehicles set to launch this month.

Showcased earlier in the Delhi Auto Expo 2023, the BYD Seal gathered a lot of interest. This model competes with the Tesla Model 3 internationally and gives tough competition to it. BYD promises the Seal to have a range of 570 kms on a single charge.
It comes equipped with a 82.5 kWh battery pack. The battery itself can be charged at 150 kWh as it takes 37 minutes to top up from 10 to 80 percent. As for performance, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. Featuring a rear-axle mounted motor, the EV is said to deliver a maximum power output 230 bhp with 360 Nm of torque.
Did you know BYD also supplies batteries to a lot of major other EV manufacturers including Tesla and is also the biggest EV manufacturer in the world?

Hyundai Motor India has been giving the N-Line treatment to its cars lately and the most successful model of the brand is set to get it too. The Creta N-Line will feature the same 1.5 litre Turbo petrol engine producing a power output of 158 bhp and 253 Nm Torque. It will come mated to a 7 speed DCT or 6 speed manual transmission.
The compact SUV will host plethora of cosmetic changes on the outside including more aggressive bumpers, redesigned grill, body cladding, N badges, roof mounted spoiler, twin tip exhausts, 18-inch alloy wheels to name a few.
Inside you will get the N-Line steering wheel, red accents throughout, contrast stitching and a restyled gear lever. Hyundai might give this vehicle a retuned suspension setup for a firmer ride and more engaging driving experience.

Nexon has been the best selling subcompact SUV in its segment and Tata aims to increase the lead further by introducing a Dark Edition. As the name suggests, this variant will be blackened out from the outside to the inside.
The Tata badge, front grill, roof rails, bumpers and alloy wheels will all be black in colour. Inside you will get to see a blacked out treatment for the roof liner, seats, dashboard and the steering. Dark Edition logos will be visible throughout the SUV. If Tata is feeling generous, it might offer a feature or two extra which might not be available in the current Tata Nexon Facelift so stay tuned for that!

Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to launch the long awaited facelift of its XUV300. You can expect a completely redesigned exterior with restyled bumper, lights, bonnet and rear tailgate.
The facelift will be heavily inspired from the current Mahindra XUV400 EV when it comes to the interior. Twin 10.25-inch screens, a 360 degree camera, cooled seats, rear AC vents are expected to come in the XUV300 Facelift.
There will be 3 engine options since they are all cleared for BS6 Stage 2 emission norms which are 1.2-litre Turbo petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2 Litre Direct Injection Turbo petrol.
The XUV 300 will also get its own EV version which will sit below XUV 400 EV and will be offered as a more value for money competition to the Tata Nexon EV.
