Hyundai India launched its micro-SUV, the Exter in July 2023 at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Exter is the smallest and most budget-friendly SUV option in Hyundai's India portfolio.

Hyundai Exter comes equipped with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that can produce the maximum power of 82 bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. Its 1.2-litre Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG sends 69 bhp and 95 Nm of max torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and the AMT gearbox.
