Upcoming Tata SUVs in 2024

In the past few years, Tata Motors has been one of the fastest growing automobile brands in the Indian market. The homegrown brand is engaging in close competition with the South Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai, for the second largest car brand in the country.

The company had introduced multiple new products in the last 1 year including the new Tata Nexon, Nexon EV, Punch EV and the updated versions of the Harrier & Safari.

In order to further strengthen its position, Tata Motors is planning to introduce multiple new vehicles. The company will introduce internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and multiple new electric vehicles (EVs).
Here is a comprehensive list of the upcoming Tata SUVs scheduled to be launched in the country before the end of the financial year 2024.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Harrier EV

In order to further strengthen its position in the electric vehicle (EV) space, Tata Motors is set to introduce the electric derivative of the Harrier SUV.

The company had introduced the Harrier EV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. At the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show, Tata Motors presented the closer to production version of the Harrier.EV.

The Tata Harrier.ev is expected to be launched in the country at the end of this year or early 2025. The SUV will be offered with a bigger battery pack of around 60kWh to 80kWh. It is likely to offer an impressive range of up to 500km on a single charge.

Adding to it, the SUV will also be offered with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) option.

The Tata Harrier.ev will be designed and developed on the brand's new Acti.ev architecture that debuted on the Punch.ev. This architecture is flexible enough to accommodate different body styles, dimensions and battery packs along with dual-motor AWD setup.

The SUV will be loaded with several high-end features including an electric tailgate, LED headlights, ventilated seats, ADAS tech, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, a panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree surround view camera and many more.

The electric SUV is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 35 lakh.

Tata Curvv EV

Tata Motors will fill the void between the Nexon EV and the Harrier EV with an all-new electric SUV Coupe. Called the Curvv EV, the new SUV Coupe electric will rival the likes of the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400 and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and the Maruti Suzuki eVX.

The new electric SUV Coupe was showcased to the public in a concept avatar at the 2023 Auto Expo.

The production version of the Tata Curvv EV is expected to be launched sometime in the mid-2024, before Diwali. The new model is based on the Acti.ev architecture that underpins the Punch.ev.

The SUV Coupe comes with a futuristic and sharp design language, featuring a coupe-like sloping roofline.

The Tata Curvv EV will come with several high-end features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver's display, automatic AC, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technology

The diesel version will get the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo unit that is good for 115PS and 260Nm of torque.

Tata Nexon CNG

Tata Motors had showcased the CNG derivative of the Nexon compact SUV at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show. It will be the first turbo-petrol CNG model in the segment.
