3 New Hyundai Cars Coming Soon – MPV, Off-Road SUV & EV

Hyundai is planning three new models for the Indian market. The lineup will include a new MPV, off-road SUV and electric SUV. These models are expected to arrive over the next few years.

Hyundai is preparing to expand its lineup in India with three all-new models over the next few years. The company is expected to launch a new MPV, a rugged off-road SUV and a more affordable electric SUV as it looks to enter new segments and attract more buyers.

While Hyundai already has popular models like the Creta, Venue and Exter, these upcoming vehicles will help the brand strengthen its position in some of India's fastest-growing markets.

New Hyundai MPV Could Arrive First

Hyundai is expected to launch a new three-row MPV based on the Kia Carens Clavis platform. The new model could replace the recently discontinued Alcazar and will be aimed at families looking for a spacious and feature-rich vehicle. It is likely to get Hyundai's own exterior design, a premium cabin and a long list of comfort and safety features. The MPV is expected to be built in India and could make its debut in 2027.

Hyundai May Finally Get a Thar Roxx Rival

Hyundai is also said to be working on a new lifestyle SUV that could take on the Mahindra Thar Roxx and Force Gurkha. The company had earlier showcased the Boulder concept, which featured a boxy design, high ground clearance and a rugged look. While Hyundai has not confirmed that the concept will enter production, it gives a good idea of what the future SUV could look like. The new SUV is expected to offer better off-road capability than Hyundai's current models and may come with an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive system.

Affordable Electric SUV Also in the Pipeline

Hyundai is also planning a new electric SUV that will be positioned below the Creta Electric. The company is expected to use a highly localised platform to keep prices competitive. Reports suggest the new EV could share its platform with the upcoming Kia Syros EV. It is expected to offer a driving range of over 400 km on a full charge, making it a practical option for both city use and highway trips.

More Updates for Existing Models

Along with these all-new products, Hyundai is also working on the next generation of some of its best-selling cars. New versions of the Creta, Verna and Exter are expected in the coming years. Hyundai is also likely to introduce hybrid technology, with the next-generation Creta expected to get a hybrid powertrain.
