Bookings for the 2026 Maruti Brezza are now open. Bigger touchscreen, 6-speed manual and more upgrades expected. Launch scheduled for July 23 in India.
Maruti Suzuki has officially started bookings for the 2026 Brezza ahead of its launch on July 23. Customers can book the updated compact SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000 through Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships or the company's official website.
The updated Brezza is expected to bring several changes, including new styling, more features and a few mechanical updates.
The biggest changes are expected inside the cabin. The 2026 Brezza could get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 9-inch unit. It is expected to continue offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Maruti Suzuki is also likely to add more connected car features, along with automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, cruise control and a head-up display on higher variants.
These updates are expected to make the Brezza more competitive in the compact SUV segment.

The exterior is also expected to receive a few updates. The front bumper and grille could get a revised design, while the LED lighting elements are likely to be updated. New alloy wheels and fresh exterior colour options are also expected to be introduced.
The overall shape of the SUV is expected to remain unchanged, but these updates should give it a fresher look.
Another important update could be the addition of a 6-speed manual gearbox, replacing the current 5-speed unit. The extra gear is expected to make highway driving more relaxed and improve fuel efficiency.
The CNG version could also become more practical with an underfloor-mounted CNG tank, similar to the setup seen in the Maruti Victoris. This layout frees up more boot space compared to the conventional cylinder arrangement.
The updated Brezza is expected to continue with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
A factory-fitted CNG version is also expected to remain part of the lineup. Some reports suggest Maruti Suzuki may also introduce the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Fronx, although the company has not confirmed this yet.
The Brezza has been one of Maruti Suzuki's best-selling SUVs since it was first introduced in 2016. According to the company, it has sold more than 14 lakh units in India over the past decade.
With bookings now open, the 2026 Maruti Brezza is all set to launch on July 23. The updated SUV is expected to offer more features, improved practicality and a refreshed design while continuing to compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq, Renault Kiger, Toyota Taisor and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
