Curvv Petrol & Diesel price release on September 2 MG’s 3rd electric vehicle will arrive on September 11 New Alcazar price release on Sept 9, new EQS Maybach SUV on Sept 5
In the first 15 days of next month, a total of 4 new exciting new cars and SUVs will be launched in our market. While Tata Motors will announce the prices of the Curvv ICE version, MG will introduce its 3rd electric vehicle in our market. Let's discuss these upcoming 4 models in detail -

Tata Motors will release the prices of the Curvv petrol and diesel version on September 2, 2024. Interested customers can book the new model online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. In fact, customer previews and test drives of the new Curvv have also been started.
The Tata Curvv ICE version is built on the brand's new ATLAS platform, which is versatile enough to accommodate different body styles. It is available in 3 engine options - a 118bhp, 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol, a 116bhp, 1.5L Kryotec diesel and a new 123bhp, 1.2L direct-injection turbo petrol. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission).

JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch the new Windsor electric CUV or Crossover Utility Vehicle on September 11, 2024. It is basically the rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV, which is on sale in international markets. While official bookings are yet to be announced, MG dealers have unofficially started accepting pre-orders for the MG Windsor EV.
It will be positioned between the Comet EV and the ZS EV, in terms of pricing. The new model will be priced under 20 lakhs and will rival the likes of the Tata Nexon EV, Curvv EV and the Mahindra XUV400. The electric CUV will come with two battery packs and a front-axle-mounted electric motor. We expect the EV to offer a maximum range of up to 500km on a single charge (ARAI certified). In real conditions, the MG Windsor EV could offer a range of up to 400km on a single charge.

Mercedes-Benz India will launch the Maybach EQS 680 in the Indian market on September 5, 2024. It comes equipped with a dual motor setup, which sends power to all four wheels. The electric motor is capable of producing 658PS and 950Nm of torque. It is expected to receive a battery capacity of 130-135kWh, offering a range of up to 600km on a single charge. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in 4.4 seconds.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS Maybach will rival the likes of the Lotus Eletre and the BMW i7. In terms of features, the electric SUV gets an MBUX Hyperscreen, twin 11.6-inch screens for the rear passengers, 15-speaker Burmester-sourced sound system, multi-zone climate control, 360-degree surround view camera, 64-colour ambient lighting and air suspensions.

Hyundai Motor India will launch the new Alcazar facelift on September 9, 2024. Interested customers can book the SUV online or at authorised dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. It will be offered in 4 trim levels - Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature.
The new model will come in two engine options - a 160PS, 1.5L turbo petrol and a 116PS, 1.5L turbo diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual as standard, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or DCT with 1.5L turbo petrol and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic with diesel engine, The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar will come with two seating layout - a 6-seater with captain seats in the second-row, and a 7-seater with bench seats in the middle row.
