Aston Martin will introduce its luxury Valhalla hybrid supercar in India. The British luxury carmaker recently introduced the Vanquish in India at Rs. 8.85 crore, but as the Valhalla is a newer model car, it could be even more expensive. The new hybrid supercar could be one of the luxury brand's flagship models in Indian markets soon.
Aston Martin India General Sales Manager Gautam Dutta, during a recent interview, had indicated that Valhalla was in the consideration list of the company for the Indian market. Dutta also added that India was being seriously considered by Aston Martin globally and the company wished to launch in India all its models in which it retails worldwide. He further said that a high demand has been coming in from potential customers in India for the Valhalla. Since deliveries need to be begun in the second half of 2025, there are positive chances that at least some of the rare 999 units find their way into India.
The Aston Martin Valhalla is a hybrid mid-engined supercar that is a landmark vehicle for the brand. It is the brand's first mid-engined hybrid supercar ever and it comes with the brand's F1 department latest technology. It features a blend of a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from Mercedes-AMG and three electric motors. The potent combined offering produces 1,079 horsepower and 1,110 Nm of torque.
The Valhalla comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 2.5 seconds, making the vehicle very performance-centric in its nature. EV mode is the most critical aspect of the vehicle as the vehicle can move with electric power exclusively for the maximum distance of up to 14 km with a top speed of 140 kmph. This feature gives the car some electric-only range, perfect for short hops without needing to have the V8 engine come on board.
The car is weight-economized, with extremely extensive application of carbon fiber in its construction. Its aerodynamics are even on par with Aston Martin's Valkyrie hypercar.
While Aston Martin hasn't yet mentioned the price of the Valhalla, it will probably be a luxury car and rival other hybrid supercars in the luxury segment such as the Ferrari SF90 and Lamborghini Revuelto. Since only 999 units are being manufactured globally, it will most probably be a limited series and exclusive vehicle.
And lastly, the Aston Martin Valhalla hybrid supercar also will arrive in India in the coming times, which brings together a blend of cutting-edge technology, sublime performance, and bespoke ownership.
