New Hyundai Verna 2026 facelift brings updated design, new trims, and features. Safety and comfort improved with 7 airbags, 360° camera, and driver seat memory. Engine options remain the same, prices rise slightly from Rs 10.98 lakh to Rs 18.25 lakh.
Hyundai recently launched the new 2026 Verna facelift at a starting price of Rs 10.98 lakh. Compared to the old Verna, the facelift is slightly costlier, with price increases ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 1.1 lakh. While the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 comes with several updates in design, features, and safety, the engine options remain unchanged. Let’s compare the new Verna 2026 with the old Verna to understand the changes.
The new Verna 2026 builds on the sharp design of the 6th-gen model launched in 2023. The Hyundai Verna Facelift gets new LED projector headlamps, which are more distinctive than the old Verna. The grille is now larger with a dark chrome finish, while bumper designs have been refreshed with new fin-type elements. The full-width LED strip and bonnet design are retained. Two new colour options - Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte are also available.
The side profile features new R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, while most other elements remain unchanged. At the rear, the bumper is updated with a silver trim and diffuser-style lower section for a more SUV-like stance. The rear lighting elements remain the same as the outgoing model.

Inside, the new Verna facelift introduces a new 4-dot steering wheel, similar to the one used in the new Venue and Ioniq 5. The digital instrument cluster has refreshed graphics, while the 10.25-inch infotainment and instrument screens remain unchanged.
The facelift retains the dual-tone black and white interior theme, except for turbo petrol variants, which continue with an all-black interior. New features include a boss mode for the front passenger seat, driver seat memory function, and powered front passenger seat. Safety is upgraded with a 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, blind spot view monitor, and the top variant now comes with 7 airbags, up from 6 in the old Verna.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna Facelift keeps the same engine options as the previous model. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 115 PS and 143.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or iVT. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT.
Hyundai has updated the trim names with the Verna Facelift. The new trims are HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. The base HX2 variant starts at Rs 10.98 lakh, about Rs 18,000 higher than the old Verna base variant. The top HX10 variant is priced at Rs 18.25 lakh, roughly Rs 1.1 lakh costlier than the previous top-end model.
The new Verna 2026 offers modern styling, more features, and enhanced safety while retaining the familiar engines of the old Verna. It makes the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 a practical yet premium choice in the mid-size sedan segment.
