2026 Hyundai Verna gets Venue-like screens and steering wheel Design will receive subtle changes No mechanical upgrades
The Korean automaker, Hyundai will launch two models, the Verna facelift and Exter facelift in the first half of 2026. The company’s next big launch will take place in October 2026, which is most likely to be the next-gen Creta SUV. Going by the spy images, it is expected that the new Verna will receive cosmetic design changes, and its cabin will receive the majority of the changes.

The spy images confirm that the 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift will have significantly revised interiors, featuring a redesigned dashboard. The sedan gets bigger screens, which we have already seen on the new-gen Venue. It gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The existing model has a 10.25-inch infotainment unit and a semi-digital driver’s display with an IMD.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift will be equipped with a black-finished three-spoke steering wheel, which has a Morse Code for the letter ‘H’. This is similar to the one offered on the Creta Electric. Another addition will be the read treatment around the AC vent, and white ambient lighting. The sedan will continue to offer a single-pane electric sunroof, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and ventilated front seats. The 1.5L turbo petrol variants will come with all-black interior scheme with contrasting red stitching, while the NA model will have dual-tone black and beige cabin.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna will come with cosmetic design changes. The front fascia is expected to get new LED DRLs, a revised grille and an updated lower bumper. The rear will have new diffuser with a silver insert, and connected LED daytime running lights. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift won’t receive any mechanical changes. It will continue to be offered with a 115hp, 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol and a 160hp, 1.5L turbo-petrol unit. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
The Verna facelift will rival the likes of the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Skoda Slavia. All three rivals will also receive mid-cycle updates in 2026.
