Hyundai is preparing multiple launches for 2026, and one of the most important updates will be the Hyundai Verna facelift. The sedan has been spotted testing, and spy images reveal major interior upgrades along with subtle exterior tweaks.
Here are the 6 big changes coming to the New Verna.
The biggest highlight of the 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift is its new dashboard layout. Spy shots confirm a fresh design that looks more modern and premium. Most of the updates are focused inside the cabin.

The Hyundai Verna facelift will now get dual 12.3-inch displays. It includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display.
The current model gets a smaller 10.25-inch unit, so this is a big upgrade for the 2026 Hyundai Verna.
The New Verna will feature a black-finished three-spoke steering wheel with Morse Code for the letter ‘H’, similar to the one seen on the Creta Electric.
It will also get white ambient lighting and red highlights around the AC vents, giving the cabin a sportier feel.
The turbo petrol variants of the Hyundai Verna facelift 2026 will come with an all-black interior and red stitching. The naturally aspirated version will continue with a dual-tone black and beige theme.
Features like ventilated front seats, electric sunroof and powered driver seat will continue.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift will receive cosmetic design changes. The front is expected to get new LED DRLs, a revised grille and an updated bumper.
At the rear, it could get a new diffuser with a silver insert and connected LED lighting elements. The sedan will continue to ride on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Mechanically, the 2026 Hyundai Verna will remain unchanged. It will continue with:
- 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115hp)
- 1.5L turbo petrol (160hp)
Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Once launched, the Hyundai Verna facelift will continue to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Skoda Slavia. Interestingly, all three sedans are also expected to receive updates in 2026, making the mid-size sedan segment more competitive.
With major interior upgrades and subtle design tweaks, the New Verna aims to strengthen its position in the segment. The launch is expected in the first half of 2026, and more details should surface soon.
