Mahindra Thar 5-door, likely to be called Thar Armada has been spied testing several times. Last time, it revealed new alloy wheels and an infotainment system. The latest spy shots have hinted that it could also get a dual-pane sunroof.
Let's see what we can expect from the upcoming Thar Armada.
Based on the spy shots, the 5-door Thar Armada is likely to come with two sunroof options. While the lower variants could get a single-pane sunroof, the higher trims are expected to come with a first-in-segment dual-pane sunroof.
Apart from this, the upcoming Thar is likely to get electrically adjustable & ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system, reading lamps for rear passengers, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, and a digital instrument cluster.
Mahindra Thar Armada is expected to be powered by the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. Both are mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Speculations suggest that the vehicle could also get a smaller 1.5-litre diesel engine. More details are yet to be revealed.
