Since the Maruti Grand Vitara launched in September 2022, it has been everyone's favourite SUV. Thanks to its good road presence, tech-loaded interior, and efficient powertrains, the SUV has been receiving an excellent response from car buyers. The company has even sold 2 lakh units within just two years. Reports suggest that the strong hybrid and CNG variants have covered most of the sales numbers.

Last year, Maruti recorded 1 lakh sales units for the Grand Vitara. By selling 1 lakh more units, the company has achieved the milestone of 2 lakh sales within 23 months. After the Hyundai Creta, the Grand Vitara has become the fastest-selling mid-size SUV in a very short period.
Some of its design highlights include a muscular front bumper, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, wrap-around LED tail-lights, contrast-coloured skid plates, and body cladding. The SUV comes with a range of premium features comprising a panoramic sunroof, a large touchscreen, ventilated seats, and more. Safety is taken care of by a 360-degree camera, six airbags, ESP with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, and TPMS.
The Grand Vitara takes power from a 1.5-litre petrol with mild-hybrid and a 1.5-litre petrol with strong-hybrid. The former produces 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque while the latter delivers 91 bhp and 122 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter auto, and an e-CVT gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara price stands at Rs 10.99 lakh for the base variant and Rs 19.93 lakh for the top-spec variants. Both prices are ex-showroom. The mid-size SUV has some popular rivals including Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
