The British supercar marque, McLaren has launched its highly anticipated Artura Supercar in the Indian market today. This high-performance hybrid vehicle is priced at Rs 5.9 crore (ex-showroom). The Artura is the most fuel-efficient product to ever come out of the Woking factory, with a claimed mileage of 21.73 kmpl.
Besides, the brand is also providing 5-year vehicle warranty, 6-year battery warranty, 3-year service plan and 10-year body perforation corrosion warranty on the model.
Let’s take a closer look at this marvellous vehicle and see what it has to offer.
As for the design perspective, the Artura features signature C-shaped headlamps and horizontal taillamps which is synonymous with most McLaren models. The overall silhouette of the sportscar is familiar with steeply raked windscreens and sharp aerodynamic lines all around.
Despite being a PHEV, the Artura maintains a low kerb weight of 1,498 kg due to its new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture. In addition, the supercar is equipped with Pirelli Cyber Tyres; these feature sensors that transmit data faster than a standard Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Besides, the Artura also comes equipped with ADAS tech including features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High-Beam Assist, Lane-Departure Warning, and Road-Sign Recognition.
This high-performance hybrid car is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, paired with the electric motor. This provides a combined power output of 670 bhp and 720 Nm of peak torque. The Artura can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 330 kmph.
McLaren also claims that the battery of the new Artura can be charged in 2.5 hours only. Further, the car offers four powertrain modes named e-mode, Comfort, Track, and Sport.
