Next-gen Fortuner coming New design and features Launch expected by 2027
Toyota is working on the next-generation Toyota Fortuner, and it is expected to bring big changes in design, features and performance.
The SUV could make its global debut by late 2026 or early 2027, with India launch likely to follow soon after.
Multiple test mules of the upcoming Fortuner have already been spotted overseas.
This suggests that the SUV is in its final stages of development and could be revealed in the coming months.

The next-gen Fortuner is expected to get a sharper and more modern design.
It could feature sleeker LED headlamps, a wider grille and a redesigned front bumper.
From the side, the SUV is likely to retain its strong stance but with more defined lines and new alloy wheels.
At the rear, a full-width LED light bar and bold Fortuner lettering are expected to give it a new identity.
Inside, the new Fortuner is likely to get a major upgrade.
It could feature a redesigned dashboard with twin 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and driver display.
Expected features include connected car tech, over-the-air updates, a 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof.
Toyota is also expected to offer an improved suite of driver assistance features.
The new Fortuner could get advanced ADAS functions like adaptive cruise control and lane assist, making it safer for everyday driving.
The upcoming Fortuner is likely to move to Toyota’s TNGA-F platform.
This platform, also used in the global Toyota Hilux, is designed to improve strength, ride comfort and off-road capability.
It could also result in better handling while maintaining the SUV’s rugged character.
