Facelifted SUV to get a larger touchscreen May get a new automatic transmission with paddle shifters Powertrain options unchanged
Indian auto giant Tata Motors is slated to introduce the facelifted Nexon in India this year. Ahead of its launch, the brand has been testing the new SUV in our conditions for a while now. While the Nexon facelift has already been spied before, the latest spy shots give us a clear look into the upcoming model’s interior.

According to the new spy images, the upcoming SUV will get a flat-bottomed steering wheel and fully digital instrument cluster like the one seen on the recently unveiled Harrier EV concept.
The steering also gets an illuminated Tata logo and new paddle shifters, a first for a Tata vehicle. The spy shots also show the Nexon facelift’s gear level with park mode, indicating that it could get a new DCT automatic gearbox instead of the current AMT.
In terms of features, the biggest change in the Nexon facelift is the new 10.25-inch infotainment system. Showcased at the Auto Expo, the new screen is already doing duty on the Nexon EV Max, the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Editions. Just below the screen, you will also notice new touch-operated climate controls that have replaced the physical controls.
Tata Motors is expected to launch the new Nexon in India around August 2023. Since it will receive a comprehensive update, the facelifted SUV will likely receive a major price hike as well. Currently, the Nexon is priced between Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom) - Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Upon launch, the Nexon will rival the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.
