Punch.ev features two battery pack options Available in a total of 5 variants Bookings currently open at a token amount of Rs 21,000
Tata Motors has launched the much talked about Punch.ev in the Indian market today. Priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the EV is positioned between the Tata Nexon EV and Tigor EV in the electric vehicle segment. Bookings for the New Tata Punch EV are currently open. Interested customers can book their four-wheeler at a token amount of Rs 21,000 by visiting their authorized local dealership.

The design of the new electric Punch is inspired from its ICE-powered model. One of the notable features is the Tata Nexon Facelift-inspired LED light bar, complemented by a similar grille design and bumper. The interesting fact is that the vehicle is the first EV from the automaker to house a front-mounted charger positioned beneath the brand’s logo.
Other key exterior highlights include a redesigned lower bumper, silver faux skid plate, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, split LED headlights integrated into the front bumper, and rear disc brakes that are offered as standard.

Inside the cabin, the car is loaded with some impressive features such as a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully-digital instrument cluster, smart digital two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. Besides, the EV highlights improved dashboard layout, Tata Motors voice assistant, redesigned HVAC panel with touch controls, voice-assisted electric sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, and more.
Further, Punch.ev introduces an Arcade.ev app suite that offers connectivity functions and sends over-the-air updates for the onboard software.

Regarding safety, the vehicle offers some of the equipment as standard such as 6 airbags, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Stability Control, Brake-disc Wiping, a 360-degree camera, Cruise Control, and an Anti-lock Braking System.
The electric Punch is offered in two variants namely Standard Range and Long Range. It is powered by two battery pack options; 25 kWh and 35 kWh. While the smaller battery offers a range of 315 kms, the larger battery unit provides an impressive range of 421 kms.
In addition, the brand offers two charging options; a 7.2 kW fast home charger and a 3.3 kWh wall box mounted charger. It should be noted the 7.2 kW charger is only available with the Long Range version.
Tata Punch.ev is available in 5 variants namely Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. Below are the ex-showroom prices for each trim:
Smart - Rs. 10.99 lakh
Smart+ - Rs. 11.49 lakh
Adventure - Rs. 11.99 lakh
Adventure LR - Rs. 12.99 lakh
