The Skoda Kylaq, introduced in November 2024, has gained much hype among car enthusiasts in the country. With its stylish design and great features at competitive pricing, it has already managed more than 10,000 bookings within a few days. However, to gain better market share in the already hot SUV market, Skoda must put some important features in place for the Kylaq.
These improvements would ensure it becomes comfortable, safe, and even more desirable among the buying crowd. Here are the key features that would make the Skoda Kylaq even better at this price segment.

The panoramic sunroof will definitely be one such good feature on the Skoda Kylaq. The cabin would feel roomy with such an aspect. That long, open drive would surely be pleasurable if there was plenty of fresh air and sun. Panoramic sunroof is now a widely required attribute in many SUV buyers today. The inclusion of it in Kylaq shall give the feel of class to the car. Thus, this simple change would make such a difference to the buyers and will attract more buyers towards the SUV.
ADAS has become a feature in all modern cars. The Skoda Kylaq is already a very safe car with six airbags, ABS, and ESC. Adding ADAS would take safety to the next level. It would add features like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking, making driving safer. These systems prevent accidents and make driving easier, especially in busy traffic. With most cars now sporting ADAS, that would be incorporated into the Kylaq and thus making it on par with competitors in the SUV market.
One more feature that will complement the Kylaq for a pleasant drive would be a head-up display. The head-up display shows relevant data like the speed of the car and direction on navigation at the windscreen. Drivers will focus on the road but, at the same time, are able to get this critical data. This eliminates the potential for distractions and contributes to safe driving. Because of its relevance in modern automobiles, implementing a head-up display on the Kylaq would keep customers coming and will help increase sales for this SUV.
The 360-degree surround view camera will really help the driver while parking or negotiating a tight spot with the Skoda Kylaq. It uses a few cameras installed around the car to provide a bird's eye view of the surrounding. It really helps the drivers in avoiding obstacles and safely parking the vehicle in the most cramped areas. One of the features now becoming the norm in modern SUVs is the 360-degree camera, making it not only better for safety but also for the convenience of the Kylaq owner as well. This feature will make a car even more convenient to drive and park, and that's going to be great value for the Kylaq.
Front disc brakes are provided on Skoda Kylaq. The rear brake gets merely drums. The rear disc brakes would bring it at a higher mileage and enhance the braking performance as well. The SUV could be driven even safer owing to disc brakes as that provides better stopping power. Accompanying this would be even an electronic parking brake as well. This system allows the driver to engage or disengage the parking brake with the push of a button, making it easier to park, especially on hills. These would make the overall driving experience better and the Kylaq more competitive.

The Skoda Kylaq has already amazed with its powerful engine, modern features, and affordable price. But if the above mentioned features like a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, heads-up display, 360-degree camera, and rear disc brakes are added, it will take the SUV to the next level. These features are in high demand today in SUVs, and if Skoda were to add these the Kylaq would become a very attractive buy for customers. In case Skoda does introduce these upgrades, the Kylaq could easily become one of the top choices in its segment and compete much better with other popular SUVs available in the market.
