Mahindra XEV 9S gets 6-seater variant It is available in 4 variants, priced between 25.5 lakh and 30.15 lakh Second-row gets captain seats with individual armrests
Mahindra has launched the 6-seater version of the XEV 9S electric SUV at a starting price of Rs 25.25 lakh, ex-showroom. After Kia Carens EV, the Mahindra XEV 9S becomes the second car in the 3-row segment to offer both 6-and 7-seat options. The 6-seater EV is available in three trim levels - Pack Two Above, Pack Three and Pack Three Above.
| XEV 9S 6-Seat Variant | Price (ex-showroom) |
| Pack Two Above 70 kWh | 25.25 lakh |
| Pack Two Above 79 kWh | 26.15 lakh |
| Pack Three 70 kWh | 28.05 lakh |
| Pack Three Above 79 kWh | 30.15 lakh |
The 6-seater XEV 9S is available in 3 trim levels - and in total of 4 variants, Pack Two Above 70 kWh, Pack Two Above 79 kWh, Pack Three 70 kWh and Pack Three Above 79 kWh. It is available in the price bracket of Rs 25.25 lakh to Rs 30.15 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India.
Note: Prices do not include the cost of the 11.2 kW AC charger.
Except for the captain chairs in the second row, the 6-seater XEV 9S look largely identical to the regular model. These individual seats come with armrests, which can be flipped up to create more space to enter the third row. The gap between the two individual captain seats is good enough to access the third-row seats much easier compared to the 7-seat model.
Adding to it, the space between the two seats will allow third-row occupants to stretch out better - which improves the overall comfort. The second-row occupants will have rear AC vents, and dual 65W USB charging ports.
The 6-seater XEV 9S is available with 70 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs with a single rear-mounted electric motor offering 380 NM of torque. The Pack Two variant produces 286hp, while the latter’s motor output stands at 245hp. The 70 kWh unit is claimed to offer a range of up to 600km, whole the 79 kWh unit delivers up to 679km.
