The race to secure top position in the passenger electric vehicle category is getting intense, as Tata Motors and Mahindra are getting aggressive with their product strategy. While Tata Motors is still holding the top-spot with over 40 percent market, Mahindra is posting strong sales growth with its latest breed of EVs getting positive response. In the February month, Mahindra dispatched more than 3500 units of the XEV 9S electric SUV to dealerships. In fact, the electric SUV managed to beat the Tata Harrier ICE and EV combined in February sales.
