New Kia Carnival is all set to be on sale in India on October 3. Ahead of that, the South Korean automaker has officially announced that the bookings for the all-new MPV will begin on September 16. Interested customers can visit the nearest authorized dealership or Kia's official website and book their new Carnival against the token amount of Rs 2 lakh.

The 3-row MPV will come with a one-touch smart power sliding door and the second row will be electrically adjustable powered seats with ventilation and leg support. There will also be an automatic climate control, front & rear dash cameras, digital rearview mirror, and head-up display. It will also have an optional 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen.
Other feature highlights include a 12-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, wide electric dual sunroof, dual-screen curved display for infotainment & digital instrument cluster (each measuring 12.3 inches).
It will also come with a Level 2 ADAS suite comprising 23 features such as Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and more.
It will be powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This 4-cylinder unit can deliver the maximum power of 200 bhp and 440 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include an 8-speed Sportsmatic automatic gearbox.
The new MPV will come with a single fully loaded variant. It is expected to be priced at Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
