Audi Nuvolari becomes the most powerful road-going Audi ever. Hybrid V8 powertrain produces a massive 987 bhp. Production will be limited to just 499 units globally.
Audi has officially pulled the covers off the all-new Nuvolari, marking its return to the supercar segment nearly four years after the iconic R8 went out of production. Named after legendary Italian racing driver Tazio Nuvolari, the new flagship model combines a powerful hybrid powertrain, advanced technology, and limited production exclusivity.
With close to 1,000 bhp on tap, the Nuvolari is now the most powerful road-going Audi ever built.

The Audi Nuvolari features a low-slung, mid-engined design that previews the brand's future performance cars. While it has an aggressive stance, the overall styling is cleaner and less dramatic than many modern hypercars.
Up front, the supercar gets large air intakes and sharp aerodynamic elements. The body makes extensive use of carbon fibre to reduce weight, while active aerodynamic components help improve performance and stability at high speeds.
At the rear, the Nuvolari features a prominent diffuser and aerodynamic enhancements designed to maximise downforce.
The biggest highlight of the Nuvolari is its advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Power comes from a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors. Together, the setup produces a massive 987 bhp, making it the most powerful production Audi to date.
Audi says the V8 engine alone generates around 800 bhp and is capable of revving up to 10,000 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels through the latest version of Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The company claims the Nuvolari can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 349 kmph.
Unlike many modern luxury performance cars that rely heavily on large screens, Audi has taken a different approach with the Nuvolari.
The cabin is focused on delivering a pure driving experience. It features carbon-fibre bucket seats, a minimalist dashboard design, and motorsport-inspired controls. Screen usage has been intentionally limited to keep the driver's attention on the road.
The overall layout reflects the car's performance-focused character while still offering a premium feel.
The Nuvolari is more than just a fast supercar. It also serves as a showcase for Audi's latest technologies.
The model incorporates advanced hybrid systems, active aerodynamics, and lightweight construction techniques influenced by the brand's motorsport programmes and its growing involvement in Formula 1.
Many of these technologies could eventually find their way into future Audi performance models.
Audi will build only 499 units of the Nuvolari worldwide, making it one of the most exclusive cars ever produced by the brand.
Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027, with prices likely to start from around £500,000, which translates to approximately Rs 5.8 crore before taxes and duties.
