BMW has finally launched the second-generation 2 Series Gran Coupe in India today, with prices starting at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Produced locally at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the sedan Coupe is available in a petrol powertrain and can be booked at all BMW India dealerships. Deliveries for the car have also commenced.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe measures 4546mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1445mm in height.
From a design perspective, the car showcases a dynamic and sporty design. It features the signature BMW Iconic Glow Kidney grille, which is especially eye-catching at night. The headlights, equipped with Adaptive LED technology, offer glare-free high beams and cornering light functions.
The front of the car looks bold with a wide grille and large air inlets. Vertical side openings add to its sporty look. The long bonnet, short overhangs, and smooth roofline give it a stylish shape.

At the back, sleek tail lights and a clean rear design add to its modern and sporty appeal.
Standard features include M Sport elements, such as large air intakes, M specific side sills, and 18-inch M light alloy wheels.
Customers can choose from various paint options, including Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Portimao Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, and Alpine White.

Inside, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe features high-quality materials, a redesigned center console, and a BMW Curved Display that integrates the latest BMW iDrive system. The interior is illuminated with Aluminium Hexacube Decor.

In addition, the sedan-Coupe is equipped with a leather-free interior, including Veganza Perforated leather seat upholstery available in Mocha or Oyster. The sports seats are designed for comfort with adjustable thigh support and memory functions for the driver.
Other highlights include a Harman Kardon audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and a head-up display with augmented reality for real-time driving information.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 154 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. The engine accelerates the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The car also features the Sport Boost function for dynamic acceleration.
The car’s suspension system and chassis have been redesigned to improve handling, comfort, and driving precision. The 7-speed Steptronic transmission offers fast gear changes and enhanced efficiency.

BMW 218 M Sport: Rs 46.90 Lakh (Ex-showroom)
