Honda Car India unveiled its mid-size SUV, Elevate on 6 June 2023. Now, ahead of its launch, the automaker has revealed variant details and fuel efficiency figures for the SUV. The Elevate will be launched sometime in September, however, the test drive will start in mid-August.
The Honda Elevate comes provided with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The same motor is also shared with the City sedan. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 119 bhp and peak torque of 145 Nm. This system comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox option. According to Honda Cars, the new SUV will return a fuel economy of 15.3 kmpl in the manual guise and 16.92 kmpl with the CVT transmission.
Although there will not be any petrol-hybrid engine on offer for the Elevate, the automaker might offer an electric version in the coming future.
The Elevate is available with four trims – V, SV, Z and ZX. The entry-level trim V provides features such as LED projector headlights, fabric upholstery, dual-front airbags, auto AC, and 16-inch steel wheels.
On the other hand, the top-level variant offers more premium features including brown leatherette upholstery, auto-dimming day/night rearview mirror, an eight-speaker audio setup, Honda sensing ADAS Tech, and six airbags.
