The much-anticipated Honda ZR-V hybrid SUV will finally go on sale in India next week, most probably around 20-21 July. Set to be the brand’s new flagship offering, the new ZR-V will be introduced in limited numbers as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). Interested customers can pre-book the new SUV online or at authorised Honda dealership. Honda will utilise the Government’s policy of importing 2500 vehicles without undergoing homologation process.

The new ZR-V will come as a CBU model, and is expected to be priced around Rs 40-45 lakh, ex-showroom. This flagship Honda SUV will take on the likes of the Volkswagen Tayron, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian.

ZR-V Specifications and Mileage

The new Honda ZR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine coupled with a dual-motor strong-hybrid system. The combined power and torque output stands at 184hp and 315Nm, respectively. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an e-CVT unit. The hybrid SUV is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 7.9 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 172kmph. The new Honda ZR-V hybrid is claimed to offer a certified fuel economy of 22.80kmpl. The SUV offers a range of 1300km on a single fuel tank.
