The Honda ZR-V, the brand’s new flagship SUV for India, is set to launch tomorrow (June 22, 2026) with its official price announcement. Pre-bookings for the hybrid SUV are already underway nationwide.
Honda will bring in the ZR V as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) with expected price range of Rs 40 lakh – Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, the new Honda hybrid SUV will be positioned against the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian.

The powertrain setup of the Honda ZR V includes a 2.0L, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a dual-motor strong hybrid technology. It delivers a combined power output of 184bhp and 315Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the front wheels via an eCVT automatic gearbox. Honda claims that the ZR-V accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 8 seconds and attains a top speed of 172kmph. The hybrid SUV offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.79kmpl.
Dimensionally, the Honda ZR-V measures 4,567mm in length, 1,840mm in width and 1,621mm in height. The SUV sits on a 2,655mm long wheelbase and offers a boot space of up to 1,313-litrs with the 60:40 split-folding rear seats folded down. The SUV lineup will come in four colour options – Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.
Similar to the global-spec version, the India-bound Honda ZR V offers a well-equipped, premium interior. Key highlights include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12-sepaker Bose sound system, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting and more.
On the safety front, the new Honda hybrid SUV offers eight airbags, hill-start assist, hill descent control, a 360-degree surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability assist, electronic parking brake with auto hold, Isofix mounts and all four disc brakes.
The SUV also gets a Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite, which offers features such as lane keeping assist, lead-car departure notification, adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, road departure mitigation, auto high beam, etc.
