Honda will launch the ZR-V hybrid SUV in June 2026. The all-new 0 Alpha electric SUV is expected to arrive in 2027. Both SUVs are part of Honda's 10-model product plan for India.
Honda is preparing to expand its SUV lineup in India with two important launches over the next couple of years. The carmaker has confirmed plans to introduce 10 new models in the country by 2030, and two of the biggest highlights will be the ZR-V hybrid SUV and the all-new 0 Alpha electric SUV. The ZR-V is set to arrive in 2026, while the 0 Alpha EV is expected to follow in 2027.
Honda's first major launch will be the ZR-V hybrid SUV, which is expected to arrive in India in June 2026. The SUV will be brought to the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and is likely to be imported in limited numbers.
The ZR-V is expected to be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with premium SUVs such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, and Jeep Meridian.

The India-spec ZR-V will feature a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a dual-motor strong hybrid system. The setup produces 184 bhp and 315 Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through an e-CVT gearbox. Honda claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in around 8 seconds and deliver a fuel efficiency of 22.79 kmpl.
The ZR-V will come loaded with modern features. Expected highlights include a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered front seats, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and a panoramic list of safety features.
The SUV will also offer eight airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and Level-2 ADAS technology.
Honda is also working on the 0 Alpha electric SUV, which is expected to launch in 2027. The company plans to invest around Rs 1,200 crore in the project as it looks to establish a stronger presence in India's growing EV market.
The SUV will be manufactured at Honda's Tapukara facility in Rajasthan, which will also serve export markets.
While Honda has not yet revealed the battery specifications, driving range, or charging details, the company says the electric SUV is currently undergoing extensive testing.
The 0 Alpha is expected to be positioned as a premium electric SUV and could rival models such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti e Vitara, and Toyota Ebella.
