Lamborghini has announced the launch of its new Urus SE in the Indian market. Starting at Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom), the SUV gets an updated design and features over the standard model. Moreover, it has a hybrid tech that combines a twin-turbo V8 with the electric motor and on-board battery pack.
The Urus SE gets updated design features over the standard Urus and Performante. It features slimmer headlamps outlined by C-shaped DRLs and a new front bumper with revised air intakes. Other exterior updates include a revamped bonnet, new tailgate, bumper, aggressive front grille, and more. The wheels are also redesigned, offering in different sizes - 21, 22, and 23 inches.
The interior of the Urus SE is entirely updated. It now gets new seats, revised AC vents, larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen that runs the latest software and user interface seen on the Revuelto. Besides, there are choices in customization as well - including 100 exterior colours, 47 interior finishes, and the Ad Personam programme which provides the best personalisation possibilities.
The Urus SE takes power from the 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine which can deliver the maximum power output of 612 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an electric motor integrated into a 8-speed AT which adds more power - 189 bhp and 483 Nm. The combined power output stands at 789 bhp with 950 Nm of max torque. Meanwhile, its plugin hybrid system uses a 25.9 kWh battery pack, offering an all-electric range of 60 km.
Apart from this, the SUV gets air suspension, revised electronics, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, and 48V anti-roll bars to control yaw, pitch and lean.
