Mahindra BE 7 and BE 6 to Get Triple Screen Dashboard

Refreshed Mahindra BE 6 to launch this August Mahindra BE 7 launch by year-end or early 2027

The homegrown automaker, Mahindra is currently testing multiple new SUVs, including the all-new BE 7, Vision S Concept based compact SUV, Thar facelift and the updated BE 6 Coupe SUV. It is expected that the updated Mahindra BE 6 electric Coupe SUV will be launched around Independence Day 2026. Moreover, the much-anticipated Mahindra BE 7 electric SUV is expected to be introduced towards the end of this year or early next year.

The spy images confirmed that the updated BE 6 and the Mahindra BE 7 will come with triple screen dashboard, as seen in the Mahindra XEV 9e and the XEV 9S. The triple screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch central infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a dedicated 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen.

The Mahindra BE 7 will be positioned between the BE 6 and the XEV 9e in the brand’s born-EV range. It will be India’s first mainstream vehicle to offer frameless doors. Adding to it, the electric SUV will get motorised flush-fitting door handles, and large aero-optimised alloy wheels. The SUV’s steering wheel will be similar to other Mahindra Born EVs, and there will be no physical buttons on the centre console to operate AC and media functions.

The electric SUV is expected to be equipped with features like a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree surround view camera, LEVEL 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Heads-Up Display (HUD) and Type-C fast charging ports. The Mahindra BE 7 is expected to be offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, as seen in the Mahindra BE 6. It is expected to offer a realistic range of over 500km on a single charge.

The refreshed Mahindra BE 6 is expected to receive a revised cockpit design to improve everyday usability. The wireless charger and USB ports will be more accessible to customers. It is also expected to receive a new black and tan interior theme, replacing the current black and grey colour scheme.
