In a new teaser shared by the company, MG Motors India has confirmed the presence of the MG5 Electric Estate in its 2023 Delhi Auto Expo line-up. The MG5 will share space alongside other electric models like the MG4 and the MG Air EV at the country’s biggest auto show.

The MG5 is the first electric estate model to be showcased in the Indian automobile market. The four-wheeler is similar in size to the KIA Carens MPV offering a spacious interior. Currently on sale in the UK and Europe, the car comes with a highly practical body style that offers up to 576-litres of boot space along with seating for 5 individuals.
The 100 percent electric estate car comes powered by a 61-kWh battery pack that is rated for a maximum range of 400 plus kilometres. Powering the vehicle is a single motor setup that produces 150 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. The MG5 can accept 150 kW DC charging that recharges the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 35 minutes.

The button layout on both the models is expected to remain identical while the central tunnel on the MG5 will have additional storage at the bottom.
