We reported earlier that Ford is working on the next generation EcoSport, which is rumoured to make global debut sometime in 2025. A new rendering shows the possible design of the new gen Ford EcoSport. While global launch expected next year, the new EcoSport is not likely to arrive in our market anytime soon.
The render images show a boxier stance for the new EcoSport, featuring a big grille, a muscular hood, upright A-pillars and bigger windows, a split-opening tailgate and vertical taillights. ,The new-gen Ford EcoSport will have a sportier front-end. The teasers also reveal a raked front windscreen, side windows in small size, rounder wheel arches, a curvy rear end, and aggressive lines on the lower parts of the doors.

Ford is testing a compact SUV, which is most likely to be the next EcoSport. However, Ford hasn't confirmed the name of its upcoming model and is could come with a different nameplate. The model will mainly target emerging markets; however, India launch is highly unlikely.
It is reported that the new SUV will grow in size, and will measure around 4.3 meters in length. The SUV will rival the likes of the Renault Duster, Citroen Aircross and others in the compact SUV category. The cabin will also receive significant improvements and will be equipped with several modern features. It is likely to come with a panoramic sunroof, ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite, a 360-degree surround view camera, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a larger touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument console, and more.

The new-gen Ford EcoSport is likely to be offered with multiple engine options. In the European markets, the SUV could get the popular 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder EcoBoost mild-hybrid engine and a pure electric powertrain.
