Hyundai Bayon booking amount is Rs 11,000 Launch on October 26, 2026 Deliveries during the peak Diwali festive week Gets 1.5L NA petrol engine with 6MT or CVT automatic
Hyundai Motor India has officially revealed the India-spec Hyundai Bayon, which will be positioned strategically between the Venue sub-compact SUV and the best-selling Creta. With bookings currently open at Rs 11,000 and the official launch set for October 26, 2026, here are the top 10 key facts about the upcoming crossover SUV.
Hyundai has officially announced that the India-spec Bayon will be launched in the country on October 26, 2026. Deliveries are slated to begin during the peak Diwali festive week, giving priority allocation to early pre-launch bookings.

The Hyundai Bayon is placed in the competitive Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 15 lakh price bracket. It bridges the price gap between the Venue and the Creta, taking on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Honda Elevate.
While the European-spec Bayon gets a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, the India-spec Hyundai Bayon is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque.
Buyers can choose between two gearbox options, including a 6-speed manual and an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT/CVT) for effortless, clutch-free city commuting.

The Hyundai Bayon cabin features twin high-resolution displays: a 12.3-inch digital driver instrument cluster paired seamlessly with a 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen running Hyundai’s latest connected-car UI.
The latest infotainment unit supports 10 regional Indian language, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Hinglish alongside two international languages. It also has over 500 offline embedded voice commands to adjust climate control, open the sunroof, or toggle media settings without needing an active internet connection.
For safety and security, the SUV will get 6 standard airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), and Hill-Start Assist. It also has LEVEL 2 ADAS suite with features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Bayon comes with a sleek roofline of an urban crossover, which combines with practical SUV proportions. It features prominent wheel arches, sharp LED daytime running lamps, arrow-shaped LED taillights and elevated ground clearance tailored for Indian road conditions.

Customers can book the new Bayon online via Hyundai’s ‘Click to Buy’ portal or at any authorised dealership for a token amount of Rs 11,000, which is 100% refundable prior to vehicle billing.
