Volvo EX90 and ES90 are expected to arrive in India around October 12. Toyota Glanza facelift and Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG are expected on October 14 and 15. New Audi Q3 and Renault Duster Hybrid are expected later in the week.

The Indian car market is set for a busy week, with several new models and updates expected between October 12 and 17. The list includes two electric cars from Volvo, the Toyota Glanza facelift, the Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG, the new-generation Audi Q3 and the Renault Duster Hybrid. Hyundai's Bayon is also scheduled for a global reveal this week, although its India launch date remains unconfirmed.

Here's a look at the seven cars to watch this week, along with their expected specifications and key details.

1. Volvo EX90

Volvo is expected to launch its flagship electric SUV, the EX90, in India on October 12. The three-row electric SUV is expected to be offered in the Ultra variant with a 106kWh battery pack and dual electric motors. The EX90 produces 456hp and 670Nm of torque, with a claimed range of up to 625km, depending on the specification. Its cabin features a 14.5-inch touchscreen, a 9-inch driver display and a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system. A range of advanced driver assistance systems is also expected.

2. Volvo ES90

Volvo is also expected to introduce the ES90 electric sedan in India around October 12. The luxury EV is offered internationally with 92kWh and 106kWh battery options, while power output ranges from 333hp to 680hp, depending on the version. The ES90 features an 800V electrical architecture and supports DC fast charging at up to 350kW. Its top-spec version offers a claimed range of up to 696km on the WLTP cycle. Details about the India-spec model are expected around its launch.

3. Hyundai Bayon

Hyundai's Bayon is scheduled for a global reveal in Europe on October 12. However, the company has not officially announced its India launch date. The compact SUV is expected to be offered in India with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing around 115hp and 144Nm. Transmission options could include a manual gearbox and an IVT automatic. Bookings have reportedly opened for around Rs 11,000, although the India launch details remain unconfirmed.

4. Toyota Glanza Facelift

Toyota is expected to launch the Glanza facelift on October 14. The premium hatchback shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and is likely to receive styling and feature updates similar to its sibling. The facelifted Glanza is expected to retain the 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 82.9hp and 112.4Nm of torque. A five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT are expected to continue, while the CNG option could also remain part of the lineup.

5. Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG

Mahindra is set to introduce the XUV 3XO CNG on October 15. It will be the brand's first SUV to get a factory-fitted CNG powertrain, adding another option to the existing petrol, diesel and electric lineup. The new variant will join the Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza as another compact SUV with a factory-fitted CNG option. Mahindra has not yet revealed the CNG version's engine specifications or pricing, but more details are expected at the debut.

6. New Audi Q3

The third-generation Audi Q3 is scheduled to launch in India on October 16, 2026, with pre-bookings reportedly open for Rs 1 lakh. Local production is already underway. The new SUV measures 4,531mm in length and gets a longer 2,681mm wheelbase, along with a large octagonal grille, split Matrix LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and a connected rear LED light bar. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 201bhp and 320Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive. Inside, it features a curved digital setup with a 12.8-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument display. The SUV is expected in two variants, Nova and Zenith, with the latter adding features such as Digital Matrix LED headlights, a Sonos sound system, a head-up display, nine airbags and Level 2 ADAS. The new Audi Q3 will rival the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

7. Renault Duster Hybrid

Renault Duster Strong Hybrid is set to launch in India on October 17, 2026, with bookings open for Rs 21,000. It will use a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.4kWh battery, producing a combined 160PS. The self-charging hybrid system comes with a dedicated multi-mode automatic transmission and is claimed to deliver an ARAI-certified mileage of 29kmpl. Renault also claims that the SUV can run in pure electric mode for up to 80% of city driving, positioning it as a rival to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Victoris and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
