All-New Hyundai Bayon Hybrid Confirmed - Euro-Spec Technical Specifications
Euro-spec Bayon gets 1.0L T-GDI and 1.6 Hybrid Engine India-spec model only has a 1.5L NA petrol engine
At the Paris Motor Show 2026, Hyundai has officially revealed the all-new Hyundai Bayon. The company confirms that the Bayon will get the high-efficiency 1.6-litre full-hybrid (HEV) powertrain alongside the existing 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engine variants. On the flip side, the India-spec Bayon is confirmed to get a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine.
The Euro-Spec Hyundai Bayon debuts an upgraded crossover design, “up-segment” interior luxury, dual 12.3-inch curved displays, and advanced adaptive regenerative braking controlled via steering-wheel paddle shifters.
Powertrain and Transmission Specifications
The Euro-spec Hyundai Bayon offers three core engine configurations across Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) layouts. The big news is that the SUV gets the 1.6 HEV 6DCT, generating a combined power output of 138 PS.

In terms of proportions, the Euro-spec Bayon is 4245mm in length, 1810mm in width, 1565mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2600mm. The ICE-powered model is claimed to offer a boot space of 440-litres, while the hybrid model has a boot space of 397-litres.

Curved Dual-Display Layout: Integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch central infotainment display in a curved panoramic glass setup.
Connectivity & Audio: Features Hyundai Digital Key 2, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in-car YouTube streaming via an optional Entertainment Package, and an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system.
Comfort and Convenience: Heated and Ventilated front seats with driver lumbar support, reclining setbacks, a centre armrest with cupholders, dedicated rear AC vents and available rear seat heating.
Openable Panoramic Sunroof, dual-zone climate control and dual-color customisable ambient lighting.
LEVEL 2 ADAS Suite: Highway Driving Assist 2 with automatic lane-change capabilities, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with junction-turning detection, Surround View Monitor (SVM), Blind-Spot View Monitor, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance, Rear Cross-traffic Collision Avoidance, and Parking Collision- Avoidance Assist-Reverse.
