New Toyota Rumion Base Variant Launched at 9.56 lakh - 95K Cheaper

New Rumion E variant priced at Rs 9.56 lakh Gets a 1.5L NA petrol engine No Automatic option

New Toyota Rumion Base Variant, called the Rumion E has been launched at a price tag of Rs 9.56 lakh, ex-showroom. The MPV is now available in 4 trim levels - E, S, G and V - priced between Rs 9.56 lakh and Rs 13.86 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. With the arrival of new base trim, the Rumion MPV has become Rs 95,000 more affordable.

The new Toyota Rumion E Trim is available only with the petrol engine paired to a manual gearbox. It is packed with features like LED tail-lights, projector halogen headlamps, all-4 power windows and manual AC. For safety and security, the base E variant gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors and others as standard.

The base variant misses out on several key features like rear AC vents, electrically adjustable and foldable outside rear view mirrors, auto-dimming IRVM and speakers along with music system.

Powering the Rumion E base variant is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 103hp and 138Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, which sends the power to the front wheels. The new base variant misses out on automatic gearbox and a CNG option.
