This 7-Seater Toyota Car Now Comes with 6 Airbags as Standard

Toyota has introduced the updated Rumion MPV at a starting price of Rs 10.44 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec model. The 2025 Toyota Rumion is now available with six airbags as standard across range. This 3-row MPV is now affordable by up to Rs 49,000 under the new GST rates.

The Rumion MPV is available in 3 trim levels - S, G and V - and in total of 7 variants. Even the base variant gets automatic as well as CNG option. The Rumion CNG is priced at Rs 11.35 lakh, while the top-spec V AT variant now costs Rs 13.62 lakh. 


Top Changes


Earlier, the Toyota Rumion was available with up to 4 airbags, with S and G trims had two airbags. Now 6 airbags come as standard. Adding to it, the range-topping Rumion V trim gets a tyre pressure monitoring system. 


Adding to it, the MPV gets third-row AC vents. The AC vents in the middle row are now placed on the floor instead of the ceiling. Moreover, the second-row middle seat gets a head restraint. 


In terms of features, the top-spec Toyota Rumion gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, projector headlamps, LED tail-lights, cruise control, etc. For safety and security, the MPV has 6 airbags, vehicle stability control, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. 


No Mechanical Changes


The Toyota Rumion is powered by the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This engine produces 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. In the CNG mode, the power and torque output drops to 87bhp and 121Nm, respectively.
