New Tata Tiago EV facelift spotted testing ahead of launch. Updated design, revised lighting and new features expected. Battery upgrade could improve range in the 2026 Tiago EV.
Just after launching the updated Punch EV, Tata Motors seems ready with another update. Recent spy shots suggest that the Tata Tiago EV facelift 2026 is already testing on Indian roads.
The Tata Tiago EV facelift is expected to get several design tweaks and possible battery upgrades. Here are some key changes that the New Tiago EV could bring when it launches.
One of the biggest changes on the Tata Tiago EV facelift 2026 is the revised lighting setup. The spy images show updated headlamp internals along with a new LED DRL design.
The LED daytime running lights appear to have moved from the bumper to the main headlamp unit, creating an eyebrow-style lighting signature.

The New Tiago EV also seems to get a redesigned front bumper. The lower air dam looks slightly different and may feature a new pattern.
These small updates could give the car a more modern and sporty appearance compared to the current model.
The test model of the Tata Tiago EV facelift also appears to run on a fresh set of alloy wheels.
While the exact design is not clearly visible yet, Tata could introduce a new wheel style to make the EV look more updated.
At the rear, the 2926 Tiago EV (likely the upcoming 2026 version) may get updated tail lamps.
Reports suggest that Tata Motors could also add a connected LED light bar on the tailgate, giving the car a more modern rear design.
Apart from design changes, the tata tiago ev facelift 2026 could also receive updates under the hood. Tata may introduce larger battery packs, similar to what was seen on the updated Punch EV.
Currently, the Tiago EV comes with 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery options, offering a claimed driving range of up to 293 km on a single charge.
While Tata Motors has not confirmed the launch timeline yet, the New Tiago EV facelift is expected to arrive in India sometime in 2026.
With fresh styling and possible battery improvements, the Tata Tiago EV facelift could continue to remain one of the most affordable electric cars in the Indian market.
