Innova Hycross facelift design patent reveals new front fascia It will get a revised infotainment and instrument console
The Toyota Innova Hycross has been the best-selling model in the premium family MPV segment. However, with mid-life cycle updates approaching, recent design patent leaks and digital renders give us a glimpse into what Toyota is preparing for the Innova Hycross facelift.
The most striking change will be made to its front fascia. The patent renders showcase a significantly revised front bumper, which incorporates a wider, bolder grille reminiscent of Toyota’s global lineup, including the Toyota Hilux.
Slimmer LED headlamps - sleeker, sharper headlamp setup gives the Innova Hycross MPV a more assertive, SUV-like stance.
Repositioned Fog Lamps - the front bumper is packed with an updated air intakes housing pixel-style LED fog lamps positioned slightly above than before.
While the side silhouette remains the same, featuring crossover-esque stance, test mules and leaks suggest subtle changes.
New Alloy Wheels: it is expected to ride on a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels.
Connected tail-lights: At the back, the MPV is expected to feature updated internal LED elements for the tail-lights, which will be linked by a sleek dark chrome or gloss black accent bar.
Inside, the Japanese automaker is likely to improve overall material quality. Revised dashboard & trims: it is expected to get fresh upholstery options, soft-touch dash materials and new color themes.
Tech Boost: this MPV is expected to get an upgraded infotainment software on the floating touchscreen, which will support wireless smartphone connectivity. The MPV could also get a revised digital instrument console.
Under the hood, Toyota Innova Hycross will remain the same.
2.0L naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 173hp, and paired to a CVT.
2.0L strong hybrid engine mated to an e-CVT, offers a combined power output of 184 hp.
Expected Launch - October-November 2026
