The Tata Harrier is currently the new buzz in the Indian car market. Its majestic design, attractive colour choices, personalized interiors and powerful performance make every individual crazy about the SUV.
If you have the urge to buy a new Tata Harrier facelift in the upcoming days, CarLelo will help you choose the best variant.
Here, we are listing the unique features provided in every trim of the new Harrier so you can understand which variant would be best to buy based on your requirements.
The 2023 Harrier facelift comes in 4 broad trims namely Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless. Additional features are also provided in trims with (+) suffixes while the A trims offer optional ADAS features.
Check out the key features in the following variants:
Powered by 2.0-litre diesel 6MT, its base variant Smart (O) provides features such as an LED projector headlamp, connected LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, fully automatic temperature control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel with illuminated logo, ISOFIX, corner stability control, and more.
As you upgrade your model to Pure (O), it offers more features in addition to the base variant. These include a 10.24-inch Harman infotainment touchscreen system, 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster, six speakers, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 250+ native voice commands, exclusive persona theme interiors, front 45W C-Type fast charger, and more.
If you move on to Adventure trim, it offers 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, terrain response modes (Normal, Rough, and Wet), leather-wrapped steering wheel & gear knob, rear window sunshade, one-touch driver-side window, multi-drive modes (Eco, City, & Sport), and more.
Purchasing the Adventure+ trim level would be a smart choice as it offers smart features that can make your driving experience more comfortable and convenient. Some of these include a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloys with aero inserts, a wireless charger, air purifier with AQI display, rain-sensing wipers, all-wheel disc brakes, and more.
In addition to Adventure+, this particular trim adds the Advanced Driver Assistance System with 11 key features including adaptive cruise control with a stop-go feature. It also offers Advanced ESP with a driver doze-off alert.
For the Fearless trim level, Tata Motors provides a range of smart features including 12.3 inch Harman infotainment touchscreen system, welcome & goodbye animation on front & rear LED DRL, 9 JBL speakers, auto-dimming IRVM, 6-way powered driver seat with memory & welcome feature, and more.
This top-spec trim has 10 JBL speakers, seven airbags, an ADAS suite, emergency call & breakdown call assist, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, connected vehicle technology with iRA 2.0, and Alexa voice commands.
The new Harrier also comes in Dark Edition. However, the dark edition is available for Adventure, Fearless, and Fearless+.
The dark edition is provided with 19-inch dark alloys with aero insert and exclusive personalised themed interior and exterior.
The 2023 Tata Harrier facelift is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel unit that is capable of producing 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. All variants of the new Harrier are available with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, the Adventure and higher trims get the option of 6-speed automatic gearboxes as well.
Buying the best variant is completely the choice of a customer as to what features are required for a better driving experience. However, the price factor also is a big factor which will be revealed later this month. As far as the rivals are concerned, the new Harrier will compete against the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700, and Jeep Compass.
