The homegrown SUV maker, Mahindra has managed to outsmart Hyundai to grab the second position in the current calendar year. The company is constantly selling over 40,000 SUVs per month, and is aiming to further boost sales by introducing a wide range of new models. A total of around 10 new and facelifts of existing Mahindra SUVs will be launched in the country over the period of next 2-3 years. Let’s talk in detail about the launch and key details of the upcoming Mahindra SUVs in India.
| Mahindra SUVs | Launch Details (Expected) |
| XUV700 facelift | End of 2025 |
| Thar Facelift | Sept-Oct 2025 |
| Bolero Neo Facelift | Sept-Oct 2025 |
| XEV 7e | Jan-March 2026 |
| BE 6 Rall-E | H1, 2026 |
| XUV 3XO EV | H1, 2026 |
| Next-gen Bolero | 2026-27 |
| Vision S | 2026-27 |
| Vision X (next XUV 3XO) | 2027-28 |
| Vision T | 2028 |
Mahindra will launch the facelift version of its existing SUVs, including XUV700, Thar and Bolero Neo. All three SUVs have been spotted testing numerous times on the Indian roads. It is expected that the Thar facelift will launch in the end of September or October, while the other two will arrive before the end of this year. These 3 models will receive significant design and interior changes, but mechanics will remain the same.

In the electric vehicle space, Mahindra will launch at least 3 new SUVs in the next 1 year. The company will introduce the long-awaited XUV700 electric, rumoured to be called the XEV 7e in the first quarter of 2026. Moreover, the XUV 3XO based electric SUV will also arrive in early next year. This model is likely to replace the XUV 400, which failed to make any impact in the EV space dominated by Tata Nexon EV and MG Windsor EV.
Mahindra is also testing a rugged and off-road version of the BE 6 SUV Coupe. It will be based on the BE Rall-E concept, and has been caught testing numerous times on the Indian roads. It looks largely identical to the Mahindra BE 6, but gets some visual changes to offer a fresh feel. There is a more aggressive looking front fascia, featuring more pronounced bumper, and new circular headlights. It is expected to come with a dual-motor AWD set-up.
If media reports are to be believed, Mahindra is developing the next-gen Bolero SUV. The new model will be based on a new front-wheel-drive platform with a provision to offer AWD tech. Details on the new Bolero are limited, but its launch could take place sometime in late 2026 or 2027. An EV-derivative is also rumoured to be under development.
Mahindra has recently showcased the Vision S, Vision X and Vision T SUV concepts, which will start arriving from 2027. In fact, Mahindra has started testing the Vision S concept based SUV. This model is rumoured to be the newest and smallest member of the Scorpio family. All three SUVs will be based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ modular platform, which is compatible with ICE, hybrid and electric powertrains.

The Vision X will come as the next-gen XUV 3XO, which will have a hybrid engine. On the flip side, the Vision T represents the next Thar with electric powertrain. The new set of SUVs will be Mahindra’s global SUVs and will be launched in multiple markets, including Europe, Africa and Australia. The Vision X based SUV is expected to arrive in 2027-28, while the Vision T based SUV is expected to be launched in 2028.
