Maruti Suzuki has started accepting bookings for its upcoming entry-level hatch ahead of its launch in the coming weeks. Customers can pre-book the four-wheeler at a nominal amount of Rs 11,000 at the brand’s ARENA dealership’s or online on the company’s official website.
In a teaser image shared by the company to announce the start of booking, it has shared a glimpse of the hatch’s front-end design. Other changes on the outside include a new headlamp housing, steel wheels with a new wheel cover design. Inside the cabin, the new Alto will be equipped with a host of comfort, safety, convenience, and connectivity features.

In terms of powertrain, the Alto K10 is expected to be powered by the new 1.0-litre K-Series engine, similar to the one recently added to Maruti S-Presso. This 3-cylinder motor will be paired to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AGS gearbox.

Announcing the bookings open for the All-New Alto K10, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “with over 4.32 million customers, Alto is the most influential car brand in the country.
