3 New Mahindra SUVs To Debut On August 15 – Here’s What To Expect

Mahindra’s Independence Day event to showcase multiple new models. Scorpio N facelift, Vision S and BE 07 expected. 

Mahindra & Mahindra has a long-standing tradition of celebrating Independence Day by showcasing its future-ready technologies, concept vehicles and new-gen mobility solutions. Over the years, the carmaker has unveiled its born-electric SUV concepts (XUV.e & BE), the Thar.e, the Global Pik Up concept and the Vision concepts based on the NU_IQ platform on 15th August. This year, the carmaker has planned a three days event, which is expected to witness multiple new product launches and unveilings.

While official information of the upcoming Mahindra models will be revealed in the coming weeks, here’s what we can expect.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

The new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is likely to make its official debut next month. The SUV will receive subtle design and feature upgrades, while retaining the existing 2.2L turbo diesel and 2.0L turbo petrol engines. Spy images reveal that the new Scorpio N will feature a redesigned front grille, revised headlamps and front bumper. The side profile will remain largely unchanged, except for the newly-designed larger alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the new Mahindra Scorpio N will get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a new digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra might also make its ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite more accessible by offering it on lower trims.

Production-Ready Mahindra Vision S

The Mahindra Vision S concept based sub-4 metre SUV could make debut in its production-ready version on August 15, 2026. It will be the first model to be designed on Mahindra’s all-new NU_IQ architecture. The final model is expected to remain true to the concept, featuring tall and boxy stance. However, styling elements such as bonnet integrated limb risers, roof-mounted lights, a stepladder and a jerry can are likely to be removed or offered as optional accessories.

As Mahindra’s NU_IQ platform supports multiple powertrains, the Mahindra Vision S is expected to be offered with petrol, diesel, electric and hybrid options.

Mahindra BE 07

Mahindra BE 07 India Launch

Based on the INGLO platform, the Mahindra BE 07 electric SUV could be unveiled in a near-production avatar at this year’s Independence Day. The SUV will retain most of the futuristic design elements seen on the concept such as a closed-off grille, sharply designed LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, a sporty front bumper, large alloy wheels, a sloping roofline, vertically stacked LED taillamps and a short rear windshield.

The Mahindra BE 07 is likely to share its powertrain with the XUV 9S, which is currently available with 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh battery pack options.
