The renowned Indian automotive design company, DC2 unveiled the two futuristic products at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show – the e-Tanq and Europa. The DC e-Tanq, which has been co-developed with Mercury EV-Tech, is an electric commercial vehicle with off-road capabilities. The DC Europa, created with Gold Medal Electricals, is an ultra-luxurious mobile showroom.
DC2’s pavilion was also graced with four more models including the Vellfire Quad Luxe (a modified ultra luxurious Vellfire), the Empyrean (a luxury family-oriented vehicle), the Lex Lounge (a comfortable commuter) and the e-Rover (an urban rickshaw with modern styling).
As mentioned above, the DC2 e-Tanq is an electric commercial vehicle to serve urban commercial purposes. The model looks very futuristic with an aggressive front. Painted in dual-tone black and red colours, it features large and wide slats on the front grille and bumper. The high-mounted bonnet, pronounced wheel arches with a black cladding cover, oversized wheels, strong body creases and high ground clearance add more to its muscular look. The DC2 e-Tanq features a large 180kWh battery pack, which is claimed to deliver a massive power of 650bhp.
The Europa is an exclusive showroom on wheels, designed at a total cost of Rs 18 crore. It’s essentially built on the high-performance Mercedes G-Wagon, featuring a swanky body kit and lots of performance upgrades. The model rides on larger wheels and comes with a custom exhaust system and high-performance brakes. Material quality inside the cabin is top-notch and it has several premium features on offer.
Speaking about its showcased models, Dilip Chhabria, Founder of DC2, said, “Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 has been an opportunity to reconnect with automotive enthusiasts and showcase our vision for the future of mobility. The Expo offered the perfect stage to present our innovations to a passionate audience, and we are thrilled to have been a part of it. Our collaboration with Mercury EV-Tech has been an incredible journey. Together, we’ve created a vehicle that combines the boldness of a rugged off-roader with cutting-edge electric technology, making a strong statement about our commitment to sustainability and innovation. This is just the beginning of a new chapter for DC2."
