Ford Capri has made its comeback as an all-electric sports coupe. The 2-door coupe, which was earlier sold between the 1960s-1980s, now returns as a mid-sized electric crossover. Based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, the EV offers both AWD and RWD drive systems. Read more about the design, features, and range.

From the design perspective, the new Ford Capri pays homage to its classic Capri design styling. It gets signature four-headlamps with Dynamic Matrix LED and Glare-Free High Beam technology. Other exterior design elements include a coast-to-coast grille, swooping coupe roofline, and four-piece tail lamps blending into the sculpted rear.

The latest Capri runs on machined alloy wheels which are offered in different sizes, i.e., 19-inches, 20-inches, and 21-inches. Besides, it comes in an attractive Vivid Yellow colour with a lower body and wheel arch finished in high gloss.

For high-end comfort, it offers massage driver's seats, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry & start, and a hands-free tailgate.
Ford offers robust safety on its electric Capri. The vehicle is provided with 12 ultrasonic sensors, a 360-degree camera, 5 cameras, and 3 radar systems. Other safety features include Assisted Lane Change, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Centring, Traffic Sign Recognition, Heads-up Display, and more.
The parking aids include Active Park Assist, Reverse Brake Assist, front and rear sensors, and a rear-view camera.
The Ford Capri is available in two trims. One is a 280 bhp single motor RWD model, equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 627km. It can be charged from 10-80 percent in 28 minutes. The premium version has a 77 kWh battery pack with an AWD setup. It is capable of delivering 337 bhp and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds.
