With the auto expo fast approaching, we have confirmed manufacturers joining the list. After Maruti Suzuki, KIA India is also likely to showcase two of its car models at Auto Expo 2023. As reported, the South Korean automaker is about to unveil a facelifted version of Seltos compact-SUV and the Carnival MPV at the biennial event held within the India Expo Mart (Greater Noida) from 13th to 18th January 2023. The upcoming KIA cars are likely to get improved designs, more space and ADAS technology. However, both models will continue with the existing engine options.
Seltos has been the best-selling model from KIA India ahead of Carens and Sonet. Now, the South Korean automaker is coming up with a refreshed version of Seltos, three years after it was first introduced in the country. KIA displayed its updated Seltos model at Busan Motor Show in July 2022 and offered the new model for sale in the international markets.
The new Seltos will come with an improved exterior design with different headlamp units, updated front and rear bumpers and a more prominent air dam. Other changes on the outside include tail lamps with L-shaped LED signature lights and new design alloy wheels.
On the inside, the upcoming car model is expected to feature an updated infotainment system and ADAS suite as well.

The facelift version of the KIA Carnival was globally unveiled in 2021. Whereas in India, the new model will be showcased for the first time at the Auto Expo 2023. According to the reports, the new Carnival is expected to be more spacious on the inside thanks to the 30 mm increase in wheelbase. In addition, the Carnival facelift will also get updated tech like a new 10-inch infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats for front and middle rows and a head-up display. We can also expect KIA to equip the more plush seats to counter the already unveiled Toyota Innova Hycross.
Similar to the Toyota MPV, expect the Carnival facelift to get ADAS features like Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Surround View Monitor and High Beam Assist.
Despite its major facelift, the new-gen Carnival is likely to use the same 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine producing 200 bhp and 440 Nm peak torque.
