MG Motor India has unveiled the India-spec M9 MPV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The global version of this car is sold as Mifa 9 and is the second product that will be sold through MG's new 'Select' premium retail network. The M9 is going to be launched commercially in March 2025 and is expected to cost around Rs. 65 lakh. Even though the pre-bookings for M9 have started, the official bookings will be done in March and the deliveries will begin in April 2025.
The M9 is a gigantic vehicle that measures 5.2 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height. It means that it is even more voluminous than most popular MPVs such as Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival. Boxy and MPV-like with tall front, massive glass area this is an attractive-looking M9 with the presence of sleek LED DRLs at the front along with the chunky front bumper, chrome accoutrements being rich and bountiful at both the places -front as well as the back, whereas, the back flaunts a design connected by the LED tail lamps. The alloy wheels are 19 inches and are mounted on the vehicle, and along the side body and windowline, there is silver cladding for a premium feel.
Inside, the M9 boasts a roomy and sumptuous cabin with a minimalist design. It sports a large glass display featuring three screens to form the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and front passenger display. Touch-based climate controls are integrated in the dashboard. The seating configuration can be offered in 6 or 7 seats, along with powered rear sliding doors for convenient entry.
Some of the features of M9 include panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto digital driver display, powered front and second-row seats with ventilation and massage function, a 12 speakers sound system. Other advanced comfort options featured in M9 include 3-zone climate control, fold-out ottoman seats, and rear entertainment screens.

The M9 contains a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery paired to a single electric motor, yielding 244 hp (244 PS) and delivering 350 Nm of torque. The given car has been configured with a front-wheel drive layout with an estimated, single charge operating range of up to 430 km as derived from WLTP. The supporting car accommodates 120 kW DC fast-charging technology so that the provided battery can be charged in a mere 30 minutes up to 30% from the 80%.
M9 has been incorporated with a few safety features such as up to 7 airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera system, and parking sensors. MPV also comes with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with the features of adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision avoidance.
