MG has sold over 350 units of Cyberster since July 2025 4-5 months waiting period
JSW MG Motor India has announced that its flagship electric roadster, the Cyberster, received an overwhelming response from car buyers. Since its launch in July this year, the 2-door electric sportscar has received unprecedented market momentum - with over 350 units sold through the brand’s luxury retail channel, MG Select. The MG Cyberster now commands a waiting period of around 4-5 months.
The electric roadster comes with a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup, offering a combined power and torque output of 510PS and 725Nm, respectively. The Cyberster is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds.
The MG Cyberster gets sharp DRLs, a Kammaback rear with active aero components, and Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers that deliver confident stopping power bringing the car to a halt from 100 kmph in just 33 meters. Its 20-inch staggered alloy wheels, paired with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, ensure superior grip and performance. The MG Cyberster is available at a price of INR 74.99L.
Milind Shah, Head - MG SELECT, said “The phenomenal response to the Cyberster from sportscar enthusiasts has been extraordinary, particularly due to its striking design language and innovative features - including the iconic electric scissor doors and impressive acceleration from 0-100 in just 3.2 seconds. This remarkable success underscores that today's buyers are seeking high-performance sports cars that combine sustainable luxury with cutting-edge engineering. We have built a healthy order book and are efficiently working to cater to the current demand and upcoming bookings. From sports champions to movie stars, the Cyberster continues to capture the imagination of new India and its aspirations, drawing the attention of people from different walks of life. Beyond the vehicle itself, we are also creating immersive, curated experiences exclusively for our customers - ensuring that the MG SELECT ownership journey extends far beyond the drive."
